Usually you can't tell, they metabolize so fast they are out of your system by the time you get a blood test. You would probably notice though, if you are missing a large chunk of time, or wake up somewhere and have no clue where you are or how you got there. If you have any doubts about it, you should go get checked out to see if you were raped, and to get tested and treated for possible STDs and pregnancy.

heres the FACTS
Date Rape Drugs Demystified
Sexual predators have found a new and powerful weapon to commit their crimes. Their weapon comes in the form of a drug. These drugs have since been named “date rape” drugs. What exactly is a date rape drug, you may ask? Technically speaking, any substance that renders an individual incapable of saying, "no", can be used to commit rape. The most commonly used date rape drugs include alcohol, marijuana or other street drugs such as cocaine or ecstasy. Simple over the counter cold medicine, or sleeping pills are also known to be used, however, when someone uses the term “date rape drug” they are typically referring to the drugs Rohypnol, Gamma Hydroxy Butyrate (GHB) and Ketamine Hydrochloride.
Rohypnol is a strong sedative that is similar to the drug Valium, but is 10 times stronger than Valium. The pill is similar in shape, size and color to aspirin. Rohypnol is a small white tablet that is single or cross-scored on one side and has the word “Roche” on the other side. On the street, Rohypnol is sometimes referred to as “La Rocha”, “roofies”, “rope”, “R2” or “Trip and Fall”. Rohypnol dissolves quickly, and easily in juice, coffee, carbonated and alcoholic beverages. It is colorless, odorless and tasteless. However, when dissolved in alcoholic beverages, a bitter taste may be present. The effects of Rohypnol may include sedation, loss of inhibitions, relaxation, blackouts and amnesia. It can also cause respiratory depression, coma and even death.
The drug takes effect after 20 to 30 minutes and the effects may last as long as 8 to 12 hours. This drug is especially dangerous because it is so inexpensive. One tablet can cost anywhere from 1-5 U.S. dollars. The drugs amnesiac effect usually leaves the victim with little or no memory of the assault.
Gamma Hydroxy Butrate, or GHB is a powerful synthetic drug that acts as a depressant on the central nervous system. It is a newer drug to the streets than Rohypnol. GHB is an illegally manufactured drug, so it is very dangerous since there is NO quality control like with an FDA approved drug. Its effects can be felt within 15 minutes of ingestion. It is used the same way someone will use Rohypnol on an unknowing victim.
GHB is usually found in liquid form that is colorless and odorless, and has no taste when mixed in a drink or water. Sometimes there is a salty aftertaste, depending on how it was produced. GHB is commonly called “Grievous Bodily Harm”, “Liquid X”, “Scoop”, or “Liquid E” on the street. The effects of GHB may include dizziness, nausea, unconsciousness, memory loss, seizures or coma.
Ketamine Hydrochloride is a legal drug sold as a veterinary sedative or hospital grade anesthesia, and goes by the brand names Ketaset or Ketalar. It is in the same family of drugs as PCP. When used in humans the drug renders the user vaguely unaware of, but comfortably detached from, all bodily sensations.
In its undiluted form, Ketamine looks like an off- white powder, which can be snorted or smoked with tobacco or marijuana. In its diluted form, which could easily be slipped into any beverage, Ketamine looks like slightly cloudy water. The effects of Ketamine may include delirium, vivid hallucinations, or lost sense of time and identity. It can also cause severe respiratory problems, amnesia, or coma. On the street Ketamine is often referred to as “Special-K”, “Super K”, “Kid Rock”, or “Vitamin K”.
Depending on how Ketamine is ingested determines how quickly the drugs effects take hold of the victim. When taking orally, the effects take 10- 20 minutes to be realized. Normally, the effects last less than 3 hours.
