Suppose the president of US believs that the end of the world is near. Suppose that for some reason he decided that it would be good to speed up the end. How would you feel about that?

In Bush on the Couch, the psychiatrist author spends several chapters describing the President's unconscious desire to act out his greatest fear - the end of the world as described in Revelations. He thinks Bush acts out of insecurity and anxiety, thinking that he is delivering the will of "almighty God."

I believe his actions aren't deliberate, but that we should all be afraid of his thinking process and plans.

Considering how close Bush is in destroying the world through stupidity and arrogance, I'd say the end of the world is a lot closer than some religious fanatic's outmoded, biblical fantasy.

Ronald Reagan was a firm believer in it. Not in the biblical sense mind you. But he was well aware of the danger posed to the world and the US and was prepared to do whatever it took to protect America; and the world for that matter.

So, I would say its a good thing. Just ask the FORMER soviet union what its like.

You're an idiot, trying to plant the idea that Bush is attempting to create Armegeddon. Nice try, Mohammed. It is in fact fascist-minded militant Islamist dog-eaters that are trying to bring about Armageddon. No, I do not feel safe. But each and every Wahabiist death brings me closer to that feeling of security.

Well, let's just say we shouldn't worry until there is something to worry about. It's just a waste of energy and a waste of the short amount of time we have in our lives.
