Proper technique is a good place to start,so assuming that your technique is o k I used to play a game while warming up with my throwing partner and we would play to 21, if you hit the face area it was 2 points, the chest area was 1 point, below the waist was -1 point, outside of the body area was -1 point, you get the idea this just keeps you focused on hitting a target and spices up warming up before a game.P.S. you have to call the area you are aiming for before you throw if you call face he will present the target and you try to hit it,this game helped me a lot you can do your own version and have a little fun while doing it.

Aim for a target smaller that what you are aiming at. For example, instead of aiming for the glove, try to aim for a stich in a glove. If you are a pitcher, a four-seam fastball is the most accurate pitch.
