can somebody help me out?? which is better a tampon or pad?? how does a tampon work wear does it exactly go?? and what does it look like can somebody help me out?? how do you find the perfect pads wen you have your period??

Either one is fine although with tampons you can go swimming and if you use pads you can't. Print out a diagram of the female genitalia and then grab a hand mirror and identify all of your female parts. Locate your vagina (the place where you menstruate from) and this is where you would insert a tampon. As for finding the perfect pad............ask your close friends what they like or buy small packages of several different kinds and try each one for a while.

Hi sweetie. You really need to talk to your mom or an adult that you trust about these thing's.
I take that you must be some what young so why not try pads now. They will be less confusing and much easier for you to use at first. You can try many differant types of pads. The brand Always is a good one.

you came to a good place to ask questions. depends on your preference. tampons allow you to go swimming and do numerous other things while still on your period, it can also help with odor. pads are bulky and limit what you can wear but if you don't mind them its no problem. i like tampons for when i am working a need to wear a thong. just make sure you cahnge often and don't wear tampons to bed. wear pads to sleep. use a hand mirror to see where it goes. tampons may be hard to use at first but keep trying.

All tampon boxes come with a little book of instructions to the "NEW user" also ask another adult about it, one you can trust.
