9th or 10th

I'll be 14 when I go into 9th grade next year but I will be turning 15 in October so then the next year I'll be 15 in 10th grade for a little while so I guess kind of both grades I'll be 15 for some time.

Unless you were held back or started late, you would be in either 9th or 10th grade, 9th being from 14-15 years old and 10th being from 15-16 years old.

That depends on whether you've been held back any grades which could put you into eighth grade or if you were sent forward a grad which could put you into the 11th grade...but for the most part 15 year olds are either in the 9th or 10th grades depending upon what time of year their birthday is.

8th or 9th (middle or high school).

Depends how smart you are and what month you were born.
If you're really smart, you can skip ahead to be more challenged than at your designated grade level.
If you are born after June, you have to wait until the next school year or semester to start school (kindergarten).
