Are all of the refs completely unbiased? Does Stern not influence who wins and who loses in the playoffs? Or are there strings that are pulled here and there to try and make for a more profitable nba playoffs???

It's not rigged... I think the refs are typically biased towards the home games, but every team plays 41 home and 41 road games, so it's not an issue comparatively... And Stern doesn't influence who wins and loses. Do you think these ultra-competetive athletes would let that happen? Even the ones he wanted to win would not let him do that. And the refs wouldn't because of all the obvious media stuff they would get.

no, it be nearly impossible to rig a whole league without it being leaked to the media. stern wouldn't risk his reputation or the leagues either. refs aren't bias, they usually just get influenced by the home crowd and might blow their whistle too soon. its hard as hell to be a ref and get every single call right, you have to watch so many things at once its nearly impossible. refs are human, and make mistakes.

I do not think refs influence wins and losses but I think they sometimes advantage too much the star players. I think Stern tells them to do so because people likes them and likes to see them winning.

i think the refs have the power to determine the outcome in close games, but if its a blow out, well its a blow out. NBA is a business 1st so they'll do whatever they legally can to maximize profit.
