I am a decent looking and considered "cute" by some people. I noticed that when men talk to me they do not make any eye contact with me. When an ugly or unattractive girl deals with them, they make eye contact. Is it because they are shy? Please let me know!

Attractive women can be very intimidating to a man. It's scary trying to get to know someone. You have to face your own insecurities. You have to risk rejection. You have to risk not being rejected and not knowing what in the world to say or do next. It's tough. I don't have to worry about that stuff anymore. It's better for me to be married. I still have troubles, but eye contact is not one of them.

Yes. You nailed it. They don't want to feel rejected or show you that they think you are beautiful. They may have been hurt before by someone pretty. Don't stare men right in the eye unless you mean business. It's a sign to them sometimes. They know you can pick and choose, so don't hurt their feelings. Be thankful for your looks and remember there will come a day when all this will be a memory. Take lots of pictures. You will never grow younger than you are now.

Shy sounds right. I have trouble looking at unattractive women but have no problem with making eye contact with atrractive or mediocre

I think making I contact with women is important. It shows they have your attention and that your not looking at other parts of there body.

eye contact is the most sincere contact there is. if a lady has pretty eyes, i always tell them so. why lie to beauty is a motto to live by.
