either they got money...but come on..how many of such millionares are walking out there just to lavish us with splendid gifts? most of the guys with big bellies sitting and doing nothing in smoky pubs with their buddies got their girls cause the girls have low self-confidence....'if i date this wonderful guy who's more handsome than i am...how long will he be mine? when will he dissapear with the better one?'...it doesn't have to be exactly this kind of thinking, but just in general - girls like to be 'the star'...the prettier one in the couple...and thus they can feel secure about their partner...who should be happy for having such a blessing as this girlfriend is....isn't it a nice feeling, instead of being worried how to reach the level of your extra hotshot boyfriend? and after all....'one gets as much love as he thinks he/she deserves'..right?
but don't get me wrong, i don't wanna say that this is the ONLY reason...i mean...a guy with a belly can be loveable too, probably less self-obsessed than those metrosexual ones... can't he?
