Smiles Good Q.

Personally mine never truly gets "smaller"

To do lists are both a blessing and a curse. They insist that there are things to do, always, which might be a daunting task if looked at in total,,,but they are a blessing in that it means we always have something to do.

Certainly some listing might be neccesary, especially for forgetful types, but also can include dreams of things, places, people, we'd like to yet experience.

I find that when one thing can be "crossed off" my list, another seems to be at the bottom.

In my world, that may even be part of an epitaph, in that I would like to live long enough to cross off most of the things I have, even on my current "List"

Well, I've got two houses... both worn down but only one liveable.

The liveable one has a leaky roof, and no foundation. The other has a great foundation, and two layers of brick for its external wall... but the internal walls and flooring is weak, not to mention the roof has holes in it.

So, to do: Live in the liveable one while I gut the other one, remove the roof, put in new inside walls, new plumbing, and new roofing, then live in it and tear the one I'm in down. Won't take long. Maybe a couple of years.

Build a new raised bed
Plant seeds and starts
Dig up and separate bulbs once the flowers stop blooming
Clean out the old flower bed again

That should keep me busy quite a while!

Ummm... just about everything you could imagine but right at the top is "keep my wife happy by finally installing the pickets, posts and railings on the staircase"... oh dear... then there's "re-do the laundry room"... "I've always had a laundry room that looks like sh*t" she says... make a nice one!... ceramic floors, drywall, cupboards, built-in sink... oh dear... then there's the outside... once the snow melts... "I want a nice walkway and some nice garden thingy's"... what exactly is a 'garden thingy'? oh well... she is my life and my wife so she gets what she wants from me...
