Seriously, though, any situation where a teacher and student are involved sexually is unethical (at least) and illegal (at worst . . . depending on the age). I think it's a good thing that the double standard is starting to go away. As a society, we tend to be much more protective of our daughters than our sons, and that has colored a lot of these student/teacher issues in the past. A man who's sleeping with a 16-year old female student used to face much harsher penalties than a woman sleeping with a 16-year old male student.

Now things are starting to even out a bit, and that's good.

Age of consent or no, these are still just children (think back to yourself at 16 . . . and then think back to yourself at 21 . . . just five little years, but it's a HUGE difference), and need to be protected from adults.

Honestly? It's tabloid news. When a hot 22 year old blonde teacher is caught banging 2-3 of her 17 year old students it's sensationalism at it's finest. But it's STILL WRONG. Funny though, you wouldn't be saying the same thing if it was a 44 year old science teacher mollesting a 12 year old girl. And both are in the same category of child molestation no matter how much the 17 year old guys enjoyed it.

The teacher is there to teach, not pratice sex education on one of her students. If she wants sex, she needs to get it outside of her job. If the student wants sex, the student needs to know that the teacher can get into a lot of trouble for such actions and could be charged with sexual assault. If the student is 18, the teacher still needs to be a good example for her students , regardless of how hot she is.

Because students arent ready for the responsibilities and realities that go with sex thats why.Teachers who use their expereince and knowledge to take advantage of a horny kid shouldnt ever be allowed to teach anywhere and should be behind bars, male or female.How will you feel WHEN you fall in love with the lady son and she lets you know youre just one of the many students she has done and will do in the future , you mean nothing more to her than just sex?You wont feel to good will you?Men should teach males and women should teach girls and the sexes should be seperated in school and it would end most of the problems.

If the student is underaged, then we feel that the teacher is taking advantage of that student's innocence or vulnerability. If we are talking about college students, then more power to em, as long as the good grades are genuine.
