We are concidering traveling to Mexico Beach in May. Can anyone tell me something about this area? Great restaurants? etc..

I have been to Mexico Beach, FL. It was about 3 years ago. I remember making a note to myself that if I were to live on the panhandle I would only live in Mexico Beach. You can see the ocean from the road, no highrises along the water. Some very high-end areas and some very middle-class areas. Unfortunately, I can't remember any good restaurant names. It is not a nightlife kind of place. Just very pretty.

Its been a long time since I have been there but it is a nice stretch of beach.Not quit as crowded as Panama city beach. I don't remember the restaurants but there a re a few good ones for seafood.But you aren't far from st. Joe either so I'm sure you will be able to find something good.

Mexico Beach has beautiful sugar sand and is not as crowded as other places along the panhandle. However, you will have to drive to get to restaurants and other entertainment.
