My sadness...you can see it in occasional tears, or my mood but no one can see how it eats me like cancer.

No one sees it? Not one, then, but many... What is the part of me that many see?
Quite likely not 'the public face', the comfortable mask we all wear. People see the part I don't deliberately intend them to see. They see the me I am when I think they're not looking.
I hope they are not disappointed.

my thoughts. i'm glad too, because if my mind were exposed to the world, i think i would die.....of humiliation and horror. it's like my worst nightmare, and i shudder just thinking of it.
