My friend had a baby on Jan. 27th. She hasn't had her period yet and is getting nervous. She only nursed for about a week and then stopped. When should she get her period? And if she's having unprotected sex could she be pregnant again already?

Everyone's body is different. I took me me 2 months and I was nursing. It took my co-worker 6 months and she was not nursing. So it all depends on your body. In regards to be pregnant there is a really good possibility. That is one of the times when your body is clean and more fertile.

With me it took about 2 months. Drs tell you normally 6 to 8 weeks. As far as the unprotected sex goes, yes she could get pregnant any time. Just because she just had a baby doesn't mean that she cannot get pregnant again. My father and Uncle are 10 or 11 months apart in age.

Uaually about 6 months to get back on track, longer if your nursing. Could take up to 2 years depending on how long you nurse.

She could absolutely be pregnant again, but I doubt she's having sex. It's not safe for about 6 weeks after birth (unless she had a c-section).

Well, usually it takes about 8 weeks. Don't forget you will bleed for several weeks after delivery. Unprotected -- dangerous at any time.
