Gurl, I already have that rule at my school, and it's only 4 us freshman.

I'm not writin it 4 u but here r some ideas

If u agree:

1. It teaches students responsibility
2. Prepares them for the real world
3. Could get students to focus more on school.

Disagree:

1. Emergency situations (can't get it done)
2. Makes it much easier to fail a class
3. Makes it much harder to pass a class

Ok well I disagree. Even though you shouldn't be getting your homework in late, some people still have better reasons WHY they couldn't get their homework in. (Ex: I never got the homework because I wasn't here yesterday) Things that they couldn't help. Here's an idea you can propose to your principal: Late slips. That's what we did at my old school. For every semester/trimester/quarter, you get 2 late slips. You can use them if you need to get something in late. You get full credit for the work you turned in late, but when grades come out, you get 1% added onto your grade for every slip that you did not use. It works and it gets people modivated to get their work in, and it helps your grade go up too! Try proposing that to your principal. Good luck!!!

Umm, truthfully, i agree that teachers shouldn't accept late work (they don't in high school) UNLESS the student had an excused absence or there was an emergency because if the student is going to do it late, they might as well do it on time. Whats the point in doing an assignment after its due?
Hope this helps!

I agree. However there are "mitigating circumstances". If you do not know the meaning of those words, look it up.

When there are mit. circum., then a teacher should be allowed to make arrangements with individuals.

In the field of employment, late work is unacceptable and can cause serious consequences. Children need to practice for the real world of work.
