omg! I'm sorry. my advice...be perfectly honest and tell her they don't suit your personality (or your age...lol.) be nice and sincere and thank her for the effort. If she gave you a gift receipt then just exchange them and pretend you didn'y : )

Um, pink unicorns are awesome.
But: If you want to just tell your mom, do it. But keep in mind, that might hurt her feelings. If that's not something you want to do, just wear them and bear with it. The people who make fun of you don't matter, and who knows? You may start a trend.
And the more you wear them, the faster they'll wear out.

You should tell your mom that you aren't fond of them and that you think it was a nice gesture but you just dont see your self wearing them. You could also offer to give them to a sibling or a younger friend if that would make her feel better.

just show her a pair of shoes that you'd rather have or show her a celebrity who's got on a cute pair of shoes. say mom can i get these shoes (make sure there close in price ranges) instead of the ones u bought me.

b honest with her! if ur not she will keep buying stuff like that... Mayb she will take ur feelings into consideration.. tell her why u dont like them and mayb both of u could go to the store where seh bought them and exchange them for something u like that is in her price range (if money is an issue)

Tell her the truth YOU DONT LIKE THEM and ask if you could go with her to trade them in>she will be happier to spend time with you then pondering About the shoes
