Another 'Help me find the title'?

Rite here goes.

Its about somthing to do with poison in a pen. I know there are computers in it. And a scene where the main chracter is talking about a really serious disease with the doctors. Also i think that she has a t.v in her room that is an alarm clock, its futuristic so i think the tv is also her phone.
Also someone tells her to go away from wherever she is thats bad but she takes her car and does the complete opposite.

Please, if you know, or have an inclin, do tell me. Bits of this book keep spinning round my head. And i'm fed up of not knowing the whole story!!!!

There is a series called "Poison Pen" by Patricia Wentworth..don't know if that is the right thing, but thought I'd add it.
