Call the Theatre Department of UCLA or any large university and ask how you can find an acting school or acting teacher for your daughter. She needs acting training. Talent Agents want to see where the actor has studied and for how long.

Moving to L.A. will help a lot. The opportunity for film work is much higher there than almost any place else in the country.

I don't really know where you should go - but I will tell you where you should NOT go. Do not let any agencies tell you that you need to pay them money upfront. If you're signing your daughter with an agency - they will just take a percentage (usally 10% but sometimes as highas 20%) of what she makes in any jobs that they get for her. NEVER pay anybody money upfront.

Also - it's usually not a very good idea to take classes through an agency. And yet - I don't know where you should take her for classes.

Hope that was helpful - and that things work out for her. How grand that she has a supporting Mom like you!!

You did not say her age. I watch Biography channel a lot, and one star after another was active in their school plays. Eric from That 70's show was in a school play with producer Bonny Hunt's kid one minute, and on the show the next minute!
