I don't think this is such a "no brainer." It is a fair trade, with risks for you both.
Vlad's numbers have been down the last two years because he has no protection in the lineup. Bill Stoneman refuses to bring in ManRam or another bat. Gary "HGH" Matthews? Yuck. Are you kidding me?
I will say that I can't stand Escobar. He'll heave a 10K game, all while walking a ton and giving up tater after tater. He's painfully inconsistent and will be on the DL at least twice. He'll have two great innings before bringing his gas can to the mound and blowing up for 6 runs.
I would do the deal, nervously... hoping the Vlad gets some patience at the plate, and one of the other Angel bats gives him some much needed protection. Don't expect 40 HRs out of him.

Its close. Depends on how you feel able vlad. If you have a lot of RBI's tradeing vlad for Sizemore is a good idea. if you dont have a lot of RBI's maybe tradeing for Sizemore is a bad idea. Pitchers them selves are a wash so dont worry about them.
Personally I would rather have Vlad. (more Rbi's more Homers)
Sizemore (more runs and more steals)
Average's are a wash. (i just think vlad will steal more bases then sizemore homers. So I give the edge to Vlad.(althou vlad has been troubled with some injuries)

Garland is more consistant than Escobar.
What it comes down to between Vlad and Grady is who will give you the power you're looking for. That being said, Vlad will get you more HR/RBI/AVG because he hits 3rd and will get more opportunities.
Grady could be the next Soriano. But, if you're not into waiting for results (and you can cover Grady's losses with your other guys), then take Guerrero.

well considering Vlad is amazing, this trade is a no brainer. sizemore has great upside, but even a great year on his part will not match a normal, expected year from Vlad. the only thing you'd be losing is steals which you said you have some of. you should definitley do this trade, especially cuz garland is a young talent that if he improves his era, could be a very respectable pitcher.

If you don't got a big bat get Vlad. Grady plays for a so-so team that always underachieves, while the Angles always want to win keep Garland and only trade Grady. That is what I would do.

i'd take Rodney over Madsen. would I try this commerce? No. even nonetheless you're getting a **** universal with Sizemore, as quickly as he starts off hitting, he will acquire in all categories. Ian Stewart and Madsen for a guy drafted interior the precise 50 isn't a solid deal. in case you have maximum of outfielders, get a guy like Brian Wilson or Aardsma for Sizemore. i in my view would commerce Cuddyer, inspite of the undeniable fact that. good success, wish this permits!
