I am scared of bad crazy phycho people, what should I do?

I just saw this horror movie and it's totally freaking me out. I don't usually watch horror. I just start thinking there are really some phycho people out there, and it scares me to death. I see myself as a person that likes to help people etc, and when I think that there is such a thing where people *pretend* to be nice and actually have a whole nother agenda, it freaks me out. How can anyone be so evil? I can't understand why a person would want to hurt others for. Why are there so many sick people out there? Why are there so many terrible stories?

Your scaring me lol. What you are talking about though isn't so common. Just really be careful around people it is getting worse out there everyday. If you meet a new person and they seem nice give them a chance but if they start acting wierd just stay away from them. Are you a good fighter? If not learn how to be a good fighter because that could also come in handy. There are so many reasons why there are sick people out there, but they are all angry at the world. Just calm down and know that you are safe and it was just a movie.

They make that junk up to scare us so we'll watch. Either you are paying for satellite or you are watching commercials. Someone is making money. Don't expect everyone to be crazy like TV people in movies. You use your common sense to stay safe and then the real world will seem more natural as you get farther away from the "entertainment" that shocks us all. You would hate to pay for a scary movie and not be afraid, right? Then it's a good movie. Most people are good, not bad. I believe that and I've known a lot of people!! I wouldn't go walking downtown naked at midnight, if you know what I mean. But there are good people everywhere and they are being careful with you too because they don't know who is nuts and who is not! Everything will be all right if you watch yourself and take care of yourself. You are smart enough and strong too. It's in the way you write. Just a little sensitive, that's all. Take care. @8-)

Have you ever watch the news? It's full of depressing stories...And I wonder that myself too, how can anyone be so evil!?
In reality, we live in a cold world...people are brought up differently...others are more fortunate than others, and those who are less fortunate can sometimes result in making poor decisions...some people were never taught right from wrong, whats really sad that we cannot help everyone...

that is great that you want to help people; don't let horror movies change your mind about what you want to do; sometimes they can be a little over exaggerated, but at the same time, it can be reality...
i believe being aware of other people's sufferings is a step up of helping others...

Relax and look at the statistics. If you look at the majority of the population you aren't really going to find that many insane evil murderous people percentage wise. Even among the more seriously mentally ill (excluding depression), which comprise probably about 3% or less of the population, the crime rate is pretty much the same as the general population, so you are looking at a percentage of a percentage of 'crazy bad' people when compared to 'non-crazy bad' people. While there are very frightening instances of serial killers (whose names I will not mention because I refuse to feed their notoriety) who were rather upstanding citizens by day, and not technically mentally ill in some cases, these people are very rare and only seem more common due to media hype and morbid interest. Also you really need to realize that you just watched a movie and movies are not reality. Horror movies are specifically meant to freak you out!

You know what is worse?
Reality is more disturbing than Hollywood can ever make it.
Hollywood if just fiction. All of it!
But they do give some good pointers.

Everybody has a whole nother agenda.
That's life. Survival of the fittest.

Before the naming of serial killer as a subspecies of man, they were wreaking havoc all over the US. Now we have media and people willing to face the issue. We still have serial killers but someone is on their tail. I think that is a very good improvement. Have you considered accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior? He can't keep you alive but he can take you home with him. Don't fear, it causes illness.
