Well, see the problem is I cant find my receipt.

Contact DeWalt, they usually have a date code stamped into their products. The retailer where you bought it from should have the customer service number if you don't know the number.

You might try using the serial number to prove the purchase date.

how are you going to prove when you purchased your battery?
thats why most people want to see a reciept!
