He doesn't get booed, rather the crowd shows their appreciation by saying "MOOSE." I remember when the Colts had Tony Siragussa on the team and when ever his name was announced we(Colts fans) would always yell "GOOSE." The Jets also have a think for their kicker Mike Nugent. "NUGE", which was started by Ohio St. fans.

I have never heard Mushin Muhammad get booed. He is a great WR. It was probobly Rex Grossman who was getting booed.

They're not say boo, they're saying "moo" or mush or whatever, because there is a moo or mush sound in his name. You need to watch more Peyton Manning commercials.
