There is this girl in class who has her hair in a ponytail most of the time. She dresses very feminine but her demeanor and the way she walks (fast and assertive) makes me think otherwise. What are some signs that the woman is a lesbian? She's not femme but she's not butch either... sort of in the middle?

If a woman walks with her arm wrapped around another woman's waist, chances are she's a lesbian.

Why do you ask. I mean, why do you CARE?
If you are gay (or even bi-curious) why not just ask her out?

If you don't want to ask her out, then really- what business is it of yours?

No, you can't. People walk all sorts of ways. There's nothing that can conclusively prove a certain walk indicates a certain sexuality.

The only way to know if she's a lesbian is to see her with another girl, or -gasp!- ask her.
