well, my dad's aunt died recently and he really wants me to sing at the funeral(basically a service of songs). But the thing is, I really don't rememebr her, and i only met her once when i was like 9. I'm only 14 and haven't been to an actual funeral so I don't know what song would be appropriate. Please Help and thanx.

It would probably be best to sing a hymn. You want to sing something that's reverent and not show-offy (because of course your dad wants you to sing because you have a lovely voice -- but the point is the person who died, the point is not you.)

"Amazing Grace" is sung a lot at funerals. It's a lovely song and it's always appropriate.

Another song that always works in that context is "America the Beautiful" (you know 'oh beautiful for spacious skies...')
