People think nothing of putting a cell phone right against their head when they're in operation, even though the operating instructions advise against this. Cell phones emit the same kind of damaging energy that microwave ovens do (although in reduced levels), yet you wouldn't stick your head in a microwave oven and turn it on.

Brain cancer, genetic damage, etc have been linked to cell phone use.

probably because this item is too useful to just put down, or take away from your ear a little bit, it's pretty much like cars, scientists advise electric cars but nobody is going to go out and buy one, why? because they are slower... altho to REALLY answer your question probably because nobody reads the manual(that includes me) thanks a lot i will never hold my phone that close to my head again, haha....

I know and hear EXACTLY what you're saying. People in general are too addicted to their cell phones it's become a nuisance and three years ago I felt that way even more in fact.....And then I got my own and I've been pretty into it myself. The bottom line is, I'm not one to talk, but people are assholes when it comes to cell phones.

However, studies I've been informed about have shown there is no actually links of radiation from cell phones. That is still a misnomer until proven fact. Can I have this in writing?

A lot of independent research has been done on this and no link has (yet) been found with cancer etc.

The general recommendation is to limit usage especially for young children.

Although it is right to show an interest and be aware of potential hazards, it sounds like you are over-reacting. You can't equate mobile phone use with sticking your head in a microwave oven (although doing that is safe because you can't turn it on with the door open)

Well my friend, have you ever thought that when you drink Coke?, Nobody has died yet and Coke can remove rust from bolts. I think it's the same case, we can't live without a Coke or a Cell Phone.
