I dont know if you have it there, but here most major shopping centres in AUS have like 3 to 4 bins to separate rubbish. Just trying to decide which rubbish belongs to which bin is a chore sometime lol.

We don't have that in Brisbane only at our house we have 2 bins the yellow one is
for clean paper,cardboard soft drink & alcohol bottles all jars & tins etc not crockery
& the black bin is for house hold waste but they like us to put all our food scraps bread etc (but not meat scraps) in our garden compost
so in your shopping centres you may have a bin for cans & bottles or they may even seperate them
another bin will just be for food scraps & paper etc (dirty food paper i mean )
we are slack in queensland we don't even get extra infrastructure to water the extra millions of people
let alone having extra bins in public places for recycling haha

we now have 4 in Canada, just got new composting bins.

they dont have that up in qld but i know they have it down in nsw i just put it in the regular one for everything
