No there shouldn't be a problem. The clots are still partly fluid and have fluid surrounding them. As well, they're typically pretty small (the size of 1/2 of an eraser or smaller) so they're going to stick to the tampon and come out when you remove the tampon.

You should change your tampon as often as you need to, to control the flow. But never leave your tampon in longer than 8 hours.

Tampons work well and no, the clots won't stay up there and block the blood. I prefer to use a tampon and a pad when I have a heavy flow. There was one kind of tampon that did cause toxic shock syndrome but they stopped making it. You will be able to tell when you need to change your tampon. That is the reason I wear a small pad in case of leakage.

The clots won't clog you up, if that's what you are worried about. They get pulled against the tampon and get stuck to it. They come out when you remove the tampon. I try to change mine about every 4 hours.

don't worry the clots will come out and shouldn't block anything. change at least every four hours, and don't wear tampons to bed, use pads when sleeping.

No they won't. You are supposed to change them every 6-8 hours.
