I'm thinking of relocating and I have been interested in this state.

Most of the hispanic groups in NC are Mexican or Central American. I haven't really seen many Puerto Ricans concentrated in any single one area.
Your best bets would be the major urban areas like Raleigh/Durham or Charlotte.

I'm not sure where most of the Puerto Ricans live in North Carolina, but I have been to the Outer Banks (Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, etc.) many times. It's a beautiful place if you like living by the ocean and don't mind hurricanes!

They typically don't. North Carolina has an extremely low rate of Puerto Ricans. But the few that are there reside mainly in Raliegh.

try raleigh or charllotte. stay away from the small towns.
