Of course back in Africa before I came to the USA , in our culture we do eat flying termites. direct for the ground to your mouth or you can trap them and eat later. You can't eat when they are dead, that means they are not fresh.In kiswahili they are called "kumbe kumbe"

I tried to eat a worm once when I was fourteen, it was horrible, and surprisingly enough, crunchy, which threw me off and it was a horrible episode of gagging. Now I don't even eat creatures when they're dead, let along still alive and wriggly.

Yes. I got stranded when my skiff sank and had to survive off the beach with no fire. I had to eat shellfish alive and raw for several days. Interesting experience.

well raw seeds are "alive" so yes.
like the seeds a freshly picked berry are still "alive" and i ate it.

Well,im from japan and when i was little they made the fish so fresh when the head was choped of he was still alive!His gills where movin'!!!!!!!!!!LOL
