My husband has chatted on occasion with someone who IMed him. I found that he had a new screen name and had sent a picture of himself to this person. He tended to do this when he was out of town or I was out of town. I installed spyware on our computer and have not discovered him doing this again. I still have some trust issues though. I don't want to keep checking on him, then again I don't want to let my guard down and be blindsided either. BTW...this was almost two years ago.

Oh my gosh, I had this same experince except mine was emailing to an ex over a year ago and I check evryday, all I can say is don't let your guard down, but just know it is not healthy for you mentally if you can't learn to trust him again, only you really know what is possible. I finally left my ex of 6 years because no matter what he betrayed my trust.

No wonder there is so much divorce.....why do women think their husband is their possession? You cant be his minder 24/7....if he wants to cheat, he is going to, no matter how vigilant you are.....the only thing this is causing you is stress. It happened two years ago....let it go, get on with being a happily married couple without the snooping, without the stress......what is your distrust really achieving?....is it making your marriage a better one.......is it making you love your husband more? What is letting your guard down going to prove....it wont stop him if he really wants to cheat....maybe you should just believe he loves you and leave it at that.

two years ago is along time to hold onto. He has been trustworthy for such a long time now please let it go and try to love your husband as he is now.

you need to let it go and move on...if he shows you he cant be trusted again then maybe you need to seperate.

Meeting them is too close to the cheating line for comfort.
