If you or anyone you know, is of the native American Indian culture, I would sure appreciate some/any help with this (including all/any tribes). Or perhaps a hint to possible resourses to get this question answered. Thank you!!

In my language We say CHISHTONAHGMAT CHE THA POLIJA CHIN AGINLE. I don't think there's a translation to that. It basically means what it says.

Here is a website that will help you:
http://www.native-languages.org

If you go to the above website you can choose which tribal language you want to use. Some of the languages even have english to (tribal language) translation. Once you get the translation you want to go to this site:

http://www.500nations.com

It'll have a website for the official tribal website for whatever tribe's language you are using. Give them a call and ask to talk to someone from the culture and heritage department.
Tell them you'd like to run something by a Native language speaker. Then tell that person the translation, ask if it is correct. You could always jump straight to the source and just call and ask for a translation. Be very sure to be respectful!

I am a Native woman.

There are lots of Native American languages and it is hard to find anyone who actually speak them anymore. Decide which one you want and contact their tribal offices. You can do an Internet search for the name of the tribe to find their headquarters.

My daughter did this. We are Seminole Indian. She wanted to know how to say "Live Without Regret". The Seminole Nation was able to get her in touch with someone who actually spoke the language and they translated it for her. The funny thing is, in Seminole, the translation for those 3 words is about a mile long. Very cool though.

Good Luck
