Grape-shot
Shot was the name given to everything that was fired out of a naval gun, except those filled with explosives. Grape-shot was 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter and was often used in carronades. The French tended to fire shot high to destroy the rigging. A popular method for this was chain shot — two cannon balls connected by a chain or iron bar which when fired rotated at great speed. The British fired lower into the vessel to cause damage between decks.

Pomegranate
A hand grenade is a small hand-held bomb designed to be thrown. The word "grenade" is derived from the Old French (pome) grenate ("pomegranate"), in reference to the general size of early grenades, and because its shrapnel pellets reminded soldiers of the seeds of this fruit.

I would arrive armed with pomegranates. I would assail you with entire fruits to wear you down, as well as strategic buckshot-like seed shots to suprise and blind you.

As an added bonus, my pomegranate attack would leave you stained and seemingly bloody.

So, yes, my pomegranate arsenal could beat you every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Bring it on! :)

What a fun question! Thanks! :)

A coconut! Coconuts are pretty dangerous - they kill loads of people every year, because people sit under trees and get hit by them!

If not that then a kiwi, quite a lot of people are violently allergic to them.
