You shouldn't need to pay for your kids' car repairs. If they want a car they'll have to fix it. That's what my parents did.

Simple, Billy. If you want them to live at home, you'll stop paying. Otherwise, you'll keep paying. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

it should be when the car is bought. my parents didn't by my car or pay for repairs.

18 years of age you should of on your own...they spend the first 18 years helping you get the idea of having to pay your own way....get to it.
