I need to know what game kids play in south africa that is similar to basketball but the basket doesnt have a backboard?? does anybody know what its called ? :)

It is called Netball. Netball is a team sport similar to and derived from basketball, and was originally known in its country of origin, the United States, as "women's basketball". I don't know about the basketball one but i know that rugby is pretty big and cricket is THE biggest sport in South Africa
