My son has a BS in Math. What must he do to become a CPA?

He wants to get into Forensic Accounting

Take the state CPA exam, (and do whatever it takes beforehand to apply for the state exam).

Call *any* CPA in the phone book, and they'll tell you/him how to apply for taking the exam.

I agree with the other posters...Certified Public Accounting is a test/certification you receive (not the degree you get). If he signs up for, takes, and passes the test, he will be a CPA.
