i tried downloading the new lavasoft ad-aware 2007 beta program, and after attempting to scan my computer, i got a error message saying "aaservice.exe has to close, or something like that". this has happened everytime i tried to use it. i know it is a beta, but i was just wondering if anyone here has had success with the program. thanks.

Try to scan your computer in safe mode and see if this problem persists. There is a chance that something that loads in normal mode in your computer's memory stops your program from running properly.

i suggest you get rid of that version and go with adaware se personal edition

each computer is different
it may not work on yours
but, will work on someone else's
