Because he defeated Democrats and their partners, the Communists.
And while he accomplished that, he also cut taxes for the working people. Just like JFK & Bush, two other heroes of the working class.

He straightened out the huge pile of crap left behind by Jimmy Carter. He stood up to enemies and didn't back down when the heat was turned on (unlike George Bush). He earned the respect of the rest of the world. He got the economy back on sound footing.
Regan wasn't without flaws but he is without a doubt the best in the last 60 years. He IS the reason the cold war came to an end.
WARNING! the end of the cold war has made the world safe for war again.

Regan was a noble and kind hearted man. He was an icon and ambassador to so many. He helped our countries relations because of his gentle nature. I wish we had a pres. more like him at the present!
