kk i no that i'm only 13, and am not as old, but i had the EXACT same problem as you did when i first entered the 7th grade. The key is to not just sit and wait for friends to come, i mean, think about it, would you ever just walk up to a person and act like you are best friends with them. no!! So what you should probably do is just sit by someone in class and start a conversation when the teacher's not teaching (yah, i have no idea wat ur classes r like, i'm just in 7th grade) and then talk to them. Maybe give them ur phone # or suggest hanging out later. Once you have one friend, they'll want to introduce you to their friends and you'll have lots of people to hang out with!!! Trust me, I know what it's like to be lonely, (I've switched schools in elementary school b4), and even if you don't make friends SOON, then I'm sure that your old ones from high school still luv u like crazy!!!!!

good luck girli-o!!!! :)

Relax, and don't put so much pressure on yourself.

If there are some clubs on campus that you
are interested in, you might want to join them.

Some universities have a variety of clubs such as
vegetarian groups, martial arts groups, political, language clubs (Spanish, etc.) etc.
Find one that you are interested in and join.

Also, when in class join in a conversation with a few of your class mates. Talk about class assignments. Don't force yourself on to anyone, just relax and be natural.

Don't worry about making a lot of friends, and don't get stressed over making friends.

It might sound dumb, but start drnking beer! go to the $3/cup parties and get lit, once you've been to enough people will start to recognize you. Don't let beer affect your studies though!
