I too am amazed by the number of kids who do not do their own homework. The ones whose questions we see on here all have access to the Internet so why don't they google more and ask less?

I have never asked for help with homework but I have helped out with a few homework questions that I have seen in here.

If some teachers were doing their job properly perhaps there would be no need for young people (I hate the word kids - sorry) to resort to Yahoo Answers.
(P.S. I'm a teacher too)
(P.P.S. I try to give guidance and facilitate rather than give out the answer, and apart from maths, that's what I've seen other Answerers do as well - we should be encouraging everyone to ask for help)

I'm a good girl, i only ask when I'm straining to get the answer because i don't get it. The questions i ask in this section are usually math, and math ain't my bug-a-boo. i know there's a quiz coming up in 2 weeks, i don't know how to get the answer, i don't know why the answer i got is wrong, so sometimes i need a little nudge...
