I get a sweater, she gets the same one. I get a webkinz, she gets one. I get a CD, she gets the same one. I get silk pajamas, she gets them, too. I get an iPod, she gets an iPod. I get a laptop, she gets a laptop. I get one of those crystals that you put on the stand and the stand lights up, she gets one. I'm afraid to waste my money on anything because I know she'll copy me! But if I tell her off, she'll go crying to her mommy or teacher or whoever else will listen to her little bratty whining. And she has a speech impediment and several learning disabilities, so people will look down on me if I'm mean to her. But I hate how she can go whine to mommy and she gets whatever she wants! She copies me sooo much! What should I do?
And please don't tell me to take it as a compliment because I have been for 3 years and now it's like the straw that broke the camel's back here. Help me please!!!

It sounds like she's developmentally disabled, so telling her how you feel probably won't work too well. Maybe you need to distance yourself from her for a little while. Don't hang out as much. See if that helps. Or, you could make a point of buying something that you don't ever show her. Then you can take some satisfaction in the fact that she'll never be able to copy you in that.
Because she's behind developmentally, there's not much you can do. I'm sorry. It sounds like she really looks up to you and wishes she could be like you. She will probably never have the chances that you will have in life just because of her disability. It's really sad for her, too.
Good luck, hon.

I think you answered your own question with the speech impediment and learning disabilities part. People with such disorders will often try to mimic people they like or are friendly to them. It really is a serious compliment, I don't think she was meaning to offend you, she probably doesn't truly know that she is. She has a hard time with her own identity, or possibly doesn't want to be 'her', and the clothes/accessories are an escape for her. Who knows. Maybe take an extra set of clothes to school and if she's wearing the same thing as you, change, and keep doing this, and mayb e she will get the drift. Good luck!

No don't take it as a compliment cause if my friends did they id get angry and just not show them what i buy or don't go shopping with them
You could all so buy something really really ugly and see if she buys it
Tell her your sick of her copying you and tell her to stop
Or start to copy everything she dose and see how she feels

You need to get over yourself! I hope she sees you for the mean person you are and find a new friend. Copying is the highest form of compliment. If she's got learning disabilities she is probably not even aware that she is copying you.

tell her that whereas its flattering that she wants to be like you, she should be her own person. If she wants to be like you, she can, but not EVERYTHING! say like, the same friends, likes&dislikes, and music, but tell how wonderful of a person she is on her own, and that she doesnt need to copy you to be great.

If I were you, I would take her to the mall or something and help her find something that she herself likes. Tell her it's cool to be original (which it completely is) and show her that she doesn't have to be like you to be cool (which is what it sounds like she's trying to do!!) Good luck! :)
