Most of Maycomb is ignorant and likes gossip, so I'd say they at least tolerate her if not like her. Proof? The "sewing circle" that Aunt Alexandra holds in Atticus' home where they talk about the people of the town as not being as "well-bred." They also seem to not be surprised by the Tom Robinson trial, showing that they are still swayed by (racist) public opinion instead of listening to facts. They (Maycombians) shun Dolph Raymond for being a drunk (which, in fact, he is not, but he has to mask the fact that he is in a mixed marriage). The best evidence is that the town seems to like her stories about the Radley Family. When you read the book (I hope!) you should have seen that the Radley's actually stay away from the town (not the other way around) because of their backwards beliefs (mostly religious - they were devout Baptists). Since they are reclusive, Stephanie (and the town) make up the stories about Boo and the rest of the family. It seems that only Atticus and Miss Maudie are willing to propagate the truth about the Radleys - but even so, they don't seem to be annoyed by Ms. Crawford - they only correct the information she gives to the kids.
