I have a long scar across my stomach, i have the body for a bikini but am afraid of the horrific scar. Can i wear a bikini and just not worry about it? Thanks for the help!! :)

If you're capable of putting on a bra and a pair of panties, then yes, you "can" wear a bikini. So what about your scar. I have a scar on my left hand. People feel compelled to ask me about it. Like it's any of their business. There have been times when I just wanted to ask them why they think they they have the audacity to ask me something personal.
When I was younger, I felt as though I "couldn't" wear one peice, let alone a bikini because I was overweight and pudgy. When I got a "bikini body", I felt as though they were too revealing, seeing that I didn't want to go out in a glorifed bra and panties.
Do what you want. Don't let society and pop culture tell you what you "should" and "shouldn't" wear.

Don't let a scar do that to you. Go ahead a wear a bikini, you have the body you might as well show it off!!

If you want to wear a bikini, wear it. Besides, if you have a bikini bod, no one will probably pay attention to your scar! And who knows, it may be a way for a hot boy to start talking to you about it! (you know how guys can get about scars!)

Well...I wouldn't worry about the scar and just go for the bikini. Still, if you are worried about it and dont' feel comfortable, go for a cut-out one piece swimsuit. They're just as chic and sexy and are very popular right now.

YES. for get about your scar. go buy a bikini and wear it. have an attitude that screams i look good in this bikini and if you believe it you will. no one will notice.

there are many medicines in stores that actually make scars fade- put it on the scar could be gone pretty quick----dont worry about a stupid scar- show of that body, girl!

if u feel embarresedof that scar, get some of that fondation or cover up stuff form the store, its speccally made to cover strech marks/scars. if u dont know how to find it, just go to the section of the store that sells make up and ask the lady there,

First off let me tell you...
When I was just I kid I got hit by a car and had a scar on my tummy...When i got older i relized that i wouldn't ever wear a bikni EVER! Then i went to the pool in my 1 piece and everyone asked my why??? It was embaresing and they all had me change. Wear a bikni dont let others tell you what to do.

don't worry girl. as long as you have the body for it, you'll look great. besides, i think most men (or women if ur lesbian) would prefer a lady with a scar on her tummy than a fat@$$.
