Let me guess you have a 3.8 liter v6 engine & the mouse chewed on the fuel injector wires. I work at a chevy dealership & have seen this problem many times. To answer your question , yes these wires can be repaired. The thought of them charging you 1500 dollars for a new harness is completley ridiculous-they are trying to take advantage of you. This repair can be done by replacing terminals & soldering new sections of wire.I have done this repair many times.I suggest you find another place to have this repair done, they are trying to rip you off. I hope this helps you.GOOD LUCK!

for 1500 bucks I'd give it a try...What have You got tp lose? The wire is just a conductor so it should work. If you are carefull you can remove the conductor from the plug using a small screwdriver...

Good Luck

there is autozone will sell you just about anything for your car but getting it done by a GMC tech with factory parts gives you a warrenty and assurance it's getting done right. Plus and this is what my mom did If it malfunctions after you pay you can sue and odds are they will settle out of court. my mom did it with her 01 impala her engine block overheated after she paid to reset the sensors, they gave her a 07 impala free and clear and $3000 to settle out of court

hit up a junk yard for the harness, it will be tons cheaper, then you can splice the wires together
