Roach pruff works, but its expensive. You can make your own with Boric acid ( small bottle from drug store) and powdered sugar...Mix 50/50 and place in small lid under cabinets etc where no children or pets can reach it. I guarantee it will kill every roach around, they love it....Nuf Said

Keep complaining to the apt. manager to keep the exterminator coming. when the exterminator comes you should find out if he is baiting or applying material around the cabinets. also the problem could be with your neighbor, if that is the problem, then you should get to know them and discuss the problem with them. Keeping the area in which you see them extremely clean all the time will help tremendously. bleach helps. Locating their nest will help wipe them out as you can point it out to the exterminator who might always be so busy when he comes around that he doesn't always have time to do an extensive search. I would recommend boric acid around the edges of the cabinets, but the problem is that it might interfere with the baiting system that the exterminator is doing and then you are back to square one.Get more information from the exterminator or the apt. manager about what kind of treatment is being performed. Call the exterminator personally if the manager won't. It is your home, take charge.

Try some borax or boric acid powder.
Sprinkle it in front of the doors, along the baseboards, inside the cupboards & anywhere that roaches can enter or hide.
When roaches or other insects crawl through it, it sticks to them & it's lethal to them.
It's inexpensive & it's less toxic than insecticides, but you should still be careful with it around children & pets. You may need to keep this up for a few months, especially since the weather is starting to warm up.

Hire your own exterminator. It'll be tough in an apartment complex, as you have no control over the others. A good one will have stuff that will keep them out of your place.
