To me you get 5 points for asking and 3 points for selecting a best answer. When you answer you only get 2 points and maybe 10 when you get best.
Everyone says you go up the levels quicker when you answer

Actually, you lose 5 points when you ask a question.
That's why you go up levels quicker when you answer.
Because when you ask, you LOSE points. =)

Okay, I think I know where we are. Did you make a print of the points chart? Go to Search and find that and print it. Now, when you ask a question it costs you 5 points. When you Answer one you Gain 2 points. And mostly when you get a Best Answer you win 10 points too. There are other points involved, like 1 per day for signing in.
I know it matters a lot when you are new because you can't be here long when you start, but when you reach Level 4 you can kick back and enjoy yourself. Your answers and questions will be unlimited and you will find your favorite categories and feel at home here. It can be great if you decide no one can hurt your feelings or make you run away. 3 points for choosing the best answer for your question
for answering questions 2 points
For giving the best answer you get 10 points
So answer questions and get up levels!

by ability of in undemanding words asking questions you received't make factors. You free 5 factors in line with question. and once you %. a best answer you get 3. so your nevertheless loosing 2 factors in line with question. So basically answer different peoples questions like a number of of us do...

Yes so for every question once you've resolved it you are down 2 points , but by answering you are up 2 points ! :)

they take 5 points for asking a question, not give you 5 points...

well you can answer them faster than you can ask and sellect best answer, we did have to wait longer before to choose best answer, vote on questions if you run out of answers
