I, a woman of color after 12 years am still so disguisted with this farce I don't know what to do with myself. We all know he did it ( Hence his book describing how he WOULD have done it) . After 12 years how do you feel about his being found not guilty???

Let me say I think the Blacks/latinos were cheering the verdict and NOT him. This was one of the only times that a black man received a fair trial. Simpson hasn't been a black man since college (in his eyes) and for him to seek comfort in Black/latino eyes now is discusting. Still, he should have been found guilty because he comitted the crime. The jails are full of innocent men, while the streets are full of the guilty. IMHO

P.S.S.-Nobody is EVER judged by their peers just FYI. Check future jurors and then check the defendants. He got off because:
1. a hell of a defense team
2. celebrity status
3. and an unprofessional LA police dept
and if you watch the trial again, look at the guy on OJs team standing directly in front of him when the verdict is announced. His jaw drops like HE didn't believe he got off. He got off mainly because of all the innocent black men who didn't. I think minorities were tired of it and had to prove a point. So the PROUD murderer of two ( one completely) innocent people is currently playing golf in Florida.

He was acquitted by a group of his peers. And I believe in our justice system. So what was done was fair!

If I can give you some comfort, don't let this man ruin your days. There is a saying that holds a lot of credence, "What comes around, goes around." One day the guilty that committed this horrific crime will meet his fate.
You probably looked up to him as a role model. And when that role model does something like this, the younger generation as well as the older generation are hurt badly. I am glad that book wasn't published. He being an actor (has been) probably tried to brainwash the readers into believing that he is not the guilty one. Why did he try to elude the police in that Bronco chase? If that doesn't say guilty, than the justice system needs to be fixed.
To help get your mind off of this try getting involved in positive things, things that are fun to do. In time, you will stop thinking about this.

Well, you're one, then. I remember the day the verdict came down. I was sick with something and figured I'd bring in the TV and watch it with the class. When he was found not guilty my class of Latinos and Blacks cheered as if they'd won a million dollars! It was one of the two times I was actually disappointed with a class that deeply. They were 6th graders so they didn't come up with the idea that OJ was being "railroaded" all on their own. It must have come from their families. I knew from the minute he was arrested that he did it. It's taken some a lot longer than that to be convinced.

I know a lot of people who were happy he got off because they believed that finally a black person gets away with something. Many white people have committed crimes and get off, none the less I believe that the justice system should be fair, why should money buy you freedom, innocence should. Although he didn't go to jail OJ still had to pay, he's broke because he was still held responsible for it. I believe that he didn't actually do it himself, but he may have had someone do it or help him do it.

It is appalling and absolutely disgusting that a brutal killer of two people was allowed to walk - because the jury was star-struck . I could see by the looks on some of his "dream-team" , they were astounded as well . The book is but a further stab in the hearts of his children ; the Goldmans , and the Browns . I'd like to know how that jury can live with themselves ..Some day Simpson will pay for his crimes . What goes around comes around ..eventually .

He did it. There is no question about it. The only reason OJ got off in the first place was because most of the "Mountain" of evidence that proved he committed the crime wasn't admisiable in court. This happened because the police who investigated the crime were highly incompetent. In one instance there was an investigater who forgot he had evidence in his pocket. He kept it there for two days before turning it in. Obviously this can't be admitted since it could have been tampered with.
Most of the evidence that was seized when the bodies were discovered were also inadmissable due to unlawful entry. The police did not have a warrant when they entered the property of OJ. Police can only do that under special circumstances that they have to justify, they were unable to do so.
My opinion and 99% of everyone who has studied this case is that he did it. There is no doubt in my mind. Police incompetence let him go free.

While I think he did do the crime, he did get a fair trial, and was found innocent. Look at it this way, lets say you did that crime, and you want to remain free. You would do the same thing! Innocent until proven guilty, and although he should have gone to jail, it didnt happen because of the corruption in the justice system.

He is definitely guilty!! He will make another mistake, most likely violence against another woman. This kind of man is a control freak & he will bring down himself.
His blood was found at Nicole's home and again her blood along with his blood in his SUV and on the gate.
And yes the glove may not have fit, anyone knows that when your leather gloves get wet they shrink!!

Just proves that money talks. Would have been a totally different story without it. Then there is also the police that lied,
planted "evidence" and after realizing there was no way out admitted what they did. I would go ahead and let the book sell
and make him watch while the victim's families collected the check! I never doubted he was guilty for a minute but to admit how he would have done it just proves he's no brighter than a monkey!

That man shouldn't be walking around free. I am upset at the way that the police handled evidence, obviously planting the glove. He would have been found guilty if it wasn't for that one little piece in the puzzle.
It pisses me off that he was found not guilty despite his obvious guilt. Running from the police in a car chase. He's ridiculous. But I believe in karma and that everyone gets theirs. He won't get off that easy in the long run. No matter how much he atones for his 'sins'.

I believe he is guilty, but I am more upset how bad the prosecution screwed up in court. The defense was much better prepared. He got away with it, but that does not mean his life will be a happy one until he confesses. The mark of doom is on him.
