Hey everyone, i'm a wrestler who normally wresltles 215lbs class. I just found i'm switchign to 189 for a tourney coming up in two weeks, i need to drop 17lbs in 2 weeks. any advice?
(please dont lecture me on health issues) thanks!

yeas i know 215 - 17 = 198, not 189 smartass....i didn't say i was at 215, i said that was the class i NORMALLY wrestle at, my usualweight during the season is 205-210, right now it's 206. smooth one.

My reading teacher lost 4 pounds in 7 days by eating 4 regular, but also healthy, meals a day, and doing light excercizes like jogging and walking for long distances. Do this along with drinking plenty of water and no junk food, and you should meet your goal. Remember, people may give you advise to lose weight, but remember this, cutting down on food only gains weight on you, so dont starve yourself. Plus eating, then doing hard excersizing only turns the food into sugar, and is not burning anything. Thats why i say excersize LIGHTLY.

well its not easy dropping 17 pounds in 2 weeks but the best u can do is
first of all drink atleast 6 glasses of water everyday
and eat vegetables preferebly salads
do 30 mins of cardio ( jog or run) and lift light weights ( to keep u in shape while ur dropping weight)
do atleast 1 hr of these exercises for 2 weeks this will bring down ur weight considerably
and dont forget to drink lots of water and eating vegetables only

Sauna's to get rid of water weight, eating only one fruit bar a day throughout the day on the week of the tournament, and usual calisthenics. I'd start off with calisthenics and then try the drastic acts like cutting weight.

Try dieting for those few days and if you haven't quite reached your goal by that time there are water pills you can take that could probably make you lose up to 10 lbs. You know so you can qualify!

eat alot of grain stick to 2 meals aday excersize like hell, and definitly alot of water. it can be done just need to be really displined

drink lots of water fruits veggies and run,run, and run, wear garbage bags while you run to sweat more trust me it works..and dont drink anything except water...
