...imagine you can't get thin due to thyroid issues, and you can't have plastic surgery...

Because if you're ugly, but skinny you're body is probably looking rough. Also, I have friends who are heavy but still have beautiful features and people find them attractive.

I know it's a girl question, but I'll answer from a guys perspective. Or at least, from mine (I suppose I can't answer for all guys).

I'd rather be with a thin ugly girl than a fat pretty one. You can say there's too much pressure to be thin these days, but the same goes for being pretty. Saying that you don't like fat girls is just as shallow as saying you don't like ugly girls. Hopefully, you like people for more than their looks. Sexual attraction is obviously important in a relationship, but it isn't the only thing. For me, I'd prefer the skinny girl not because she's skinny, but because being over weight makes a statement about your health and lifestyle. I take my health seriously, and I find it attractive when a girl does the same. I wouldn't date an anorexic or bullemic girl, either. They say don't judge a book by its cover, but a cover can say a lot.

Implicit on your very own question is this happens with some frequency. maybe a greater effective question may well be why there are lots of of gold diggers.

I would rather be a nice person and a good friend. Both situations can be fixed thin= new hairstyle, nice looking clothes, apply makeup well. Fat=diet & workout.

sure thin girls are cute too but some of them are paper thin and probably sickly.

i adore fat & pretty women who are all that and the whole potato crop.

F & P should work. It does not matter though because in this day and age society is just looking at all those anorexia girls. Sickening. But they say pretty is only on the surface I would rather just be me.

for sure. you are more likely to feel attractive if you are pretty and a little bigger than you would if you were thin but you were unattractive in other ways. besides if you have a bad personality its all obselete anyways.

As they say "ugly goes all the way to the bone". The outside wrapping doesn't matter anyway it's the attitude and what's inside that that really counts.
