Do you feel as thought we got away from old values and we are paying a price ? I mean .... things like ... a penny saved .... do unto others .... putting away for a rainy day .... having priorities .... the value of a handshake .... Do you feel as though many lives are being diminished by people not having these standards or do you feel like ..... we are progressing with our new standards .....

Everyone should spend some time having serious conversation with older people. They have a LOT to teach us. Education is fine, but experience is better. Older people have a lifetime of wisdom and experience to share. But you have to talk to them. You can't get it by e-mail, IM or text message.

I agree that we have lost a lot of our old values, and I am not so sure the new standards are going to be a positive effect on our society, I believe our moral values have diminished greatly over the past twenty years, and I do fear we are heading towards a morally doomed society.
