I'm a 14 year boy and kinda husky and sorta a nerd. I like some of the clothes that Hollister and all those other stores have, but i am not sure if I will fit or it will look right on me. If anyone can give me suggestions it would be appreciated.

I think it would look good on you. Or at least it sounds like it. Um suggestions on telling your mom, lets see. Well you can say "Mom, a lot of people I know have been shopping at Hollister/A&F etc and I was wondering if I could try some things on there?" if she doesn't go for that sort of thing say, "Would you allow me to shop at Hollister/A&F if i bought my clothes with my own money?" she should warm up to the styles there, and begin to purchase things for you there. You can always show her their website first and point out styles and pieces of clothing that you like. And then see what she says. Good luck!

At Abercrombie all our guy's shirts go from size small to size XXL. If your mom doesn't want you to shop there because of the prices there is always stuff on clearance (in the back rooms). Clearance prices go down to $12.95 (at least at my store) and there is often many larger shirts on clearance. If she doesn't like the "worn" look of the clothes there is always a ton of new t-shirts every week or you can check out the standard plain polos.

I think that the guys clothing at hollister are nice!
my advice is not to think of your self as a nerd. Go to Hollister or Abercombie and buy clothes that will make you feel good about your self! =)
Good Luck!

Go in and find a shirt you like, and then take all 3 sizes of it into the change room to see which one will fit you best. Once you find what size fits you best, you probably won't have to try on other clothes that you like.

go to the hollister or abercrombie websites and look for sizing charts to see which size you fit into, then go try them on at the store. also try american eagle, which usually runs a little more loosely, more generously fitting. but lately though, american eagle sizes have been getting a little smaller....but you can always try a larger size or order online at these stores.
