I am looking for help in setting up a 501 (c) (3) charity. Most people want almost a $1k to assist and this is a start-up charity with no budget.

There is WORK to be done, and someone with the proper knowledge must take responsibility for having set it up correctly, or they can be sued.

Since there is tax considerations involved, you cannot do it alone. The 501(c)3 organization can bestow tax deductions for donations, which have monetary value in this society. That means that setting up the organization must be done by qualified professionals. Otherwise, every scam artist out there would set one up, pronto.

Your best bet is to raise enough money to set up the organization properly as your first step. You should consult both an accountant and an attorney.
